GOVERNOR'S TEST
Air Compressor "whooshes" at appx 120 PSI
(wrong answers:
Air Compressor "whooshes" at appx 100 PSI,
Alarm goes off at 60 PSI)

LEAK TEST
Bus is off; Service Brake doesn't lose more than 3 PSI in 1 minute
(wrong answers:
Bus in on; Service Brake doesn't lose more than 3 PSI in 1 minutes,
Parking Brake doesn't lose more than 3 PSI in one minute,
Listen out of the window for leaking air.)

LOW PRESSURE WARNING TEST
Bus is off; Pump brakes down with parking brake off; alarm should sound at appx 60 PSI
(wrong answers:
Bus is on; Pump brakes down and air should automatically rebuild,
Bus is off; parking brake should pop out as soon as alarm sounds)

SPRING BRAKE TEST
Bus is off; Parking Brake automatically pops-out at appx 20 PSI
(wrong answers:
Bus if on; Parking brake automatically pops-out at appx 20 PSI,
Press service brake and see if brake pedal springs back out)

PARKING BRAKE TEST
With brake on, put bus in drive and see if brake holds.
(wrong answers:
Pull brake lever in and out to ensure brake will engage,
With brake on, put bus in neutral and see if bus rolls.)

SERVICE BRAKE TEST
Release brake, accelerate to 5 MPH and abruptly stop to see if brakes pull to one side
(wrong answers:
Push brake pedal in to ensure lights work,
Accelerate bus and softly bring bus to a stop to check smoothness)
